Merry-Meadowing Issue 1: Sheep & Wool

$14.00

Merry-Meadowing is an annual publication that collects pieces around an agricultural subject through both open-call and invitation. We seek to illustrate the many wild entanglements that occur between humans and domesticated flora and fauna through histories of craft, contemporary renderings, poetry, etc. etc.

Our inaugural issue revolves around sheep, an animal whose fleece is heavy with our constructed allegories and very human projections.

Contributors include: Michaela Krol, Hannah Lutz Winkler, Agnes Walden, K.DiFronzo, Jessica Frances Martin, Ohan Breiding, Shay Salehi, Noelle Velez, and Pallavi Sen

Risograph printed, 52 pg. with bookmark and naturally-dyed raw wool roving in the binding

100% of proceeds collected through sales of this publication are donated to organizations supporting progressive agricultural and environmental causes.

This issue's donations will go to APN (Arab Group for the Protection of Nature)'s "Revive Gaza's Farmland" project which "aims to rehabilitate Gaza’s agricultural sector and restore local food systems to combat famine, counter the blockade and build food sovereignty."
